Technical notes
Most of our cable grips are made of galvanized steel wires or stainless steel wires wrapped in strands, with highest standards of quality and manufactured in Europe. While some models are manufactured with plastic wire or aramid fibers. In the case of steel wire each strand has a composition of high tensile elementary wires whose number varies from 7, 19, 49 and 133 wires. In function of the characteristics of capacity, breaking load required and the field of application, our cable grips adopt one or more of these types of strands.
All models of our cable grips are hand made, with maximum care and attention, complying the manufacturing cycles provided for each type, thus ensuring the highest standard of quality and performances. The several tests and inspections carried out by us, confirm the data which the cable grips has been designed and manufactured, for their specific field of applications.
All of our cable grips are designed and manufactured in a manner that guarantee the maximum keeping force of the cable, even under the most hard conditions, allowing the installation work under safety procedures, both for the cable and for the operators, and excluding any possible damage on the cable too.
Material/field of application
GALVANIZED STEEL: Standard material suitable for all the types of installations.
STAINLESS STEEL: Material suitable for the applications in patrol-chemical industry, food industry, underwater.
NYLON, KEVLAR®, DYNEEMA®: In the cases where non-conductive or antimagnetic cable grips are prescribed, light weight but with high capacities and performances.
Identification
All of our cable grips are marked by indelibly or by punching methods, showing the diameter range and breaking strength. Other data markings can be provided on specific request of the customer.
Not never ending!
In general the pulling grip is not a "disposable thing “ but, must be that considered it has a proper life hence with a time limit in duration that’s not infinite but it strictly depends very often to the field of applications and the working cycles which grip is submitted, especially under extreme conditions such as the stringing of overhead conductors, inshore or offshore extra high-voltage cable installations, we always recommend to carry an accurate check and control of the pulling grips before the starting of the next cable installation. In order to guarantee the maximum safe conditions of the work as well as for the operators, the damaged pulling grip even if slightly damaged, need to be replaced with a new one.

With the present catalog we tried to illustrate all the possible types of pulling grips based on lasting many years of experience and presence with our supplies in this sector of products; besides, we are also able to meet specific requirements for the design and the realization of particular types of pulling grips which are not included in this catalog.
